I’m the author of the Maya’s Worldly Wonders series—four published multicultural adventure books that take young readers around the globe, with a fifth book launching in September 2025. My stories celebrate courage, culture, and friendship through the eyes of Maya, a bold young South Asian girl inspired by my own solo travels to over 40 countries. After leaving a career in finance, I followed my passion for storytelling to bring authentic, diverse, and adventurous tales to children’s literature. My books have been featured on BBC Radio, embraced by schools and libraries, and stocked in leading independent bookshops across London. During my author visits, I run interactive storytelling sessions that combine lively readings with fun, educational activities. These experiences spark curiosity and confidence in children aged 5–11, showing them they can explore the world with courage, kindness, and imagination.
