A coming-of-age novelist who has created a series of books focusing on mental health, child abuse, and working-class life. The books are written to help those who need it, raise awareness of unseen abuse, and generate funds to help those in need.
I love writing, even though my story is one of first hand experiences, it is still a passion and I enjoy every moment of it. I am a firm believer that writing as therapy is one of the best ways to overcome PTSD and the side effects of an abusive upbringing. I am a confident public speaker and very much enjoy getting on the stage for an engaging talk, and then some healthy discussion afterwards.
I'm available within my local community of Dorset, Devon, Wiltshire, and surrounding areas, and I can offer virtual events for schools further afield.

Book reviews-
‘Growing Pains is profoundly affecting. This is social realism at its most urgent and humane.’

‘Growing Pains broke my heart in all the right places, Alex’s story is beautifully told and speaks volumes that emotional abuse can echo through a lifetime. A stunning debut.’
